SoundPoint 650

Hello. I just setup this phone SoundPoint 650.

I'm trying to do international calls by adding a + in front of phone number. 

Pressing * twice does not work

Pressing 0 does not work

Any pointer would be appreciated

Welcome to the HP community.

 

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product, the HP Poly Software, or the Partner application you are using.

 

This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come.

 

Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

 

Just for your information the SoundPoint IP 650 is end of life aka end of support and you should contact who is providing your telephony service to you for this as this depends on the configuration of the phone.

 

Usually, you simply dial 00 and then the international code. A quick Google search finds >this< but again this depends on your yet unknown configuration of the phone. In addition, your SIP provider or your SIP PABX needs to be able to understand the + sign.

SIP version is 3.3.3.0069

I tried upgrading to version 4.0.15. But there is no tab utilities in the web interface, and no provision server configs on the phone itself. So i have no clue what to do.

 

pressing * twice is not adding the + neither is pressing 0

this is ancient software and as explained the device is end of life. A quick search finds this post >here<

 

The Community VoIP FAQ also holds:

Resolution: Please check => here <= and you need Poly Lens now to get access to Poly Software.

 

Follow these and try and get the phone to a current software.
