Version 4.0.13 has this in the release notes:

The permitted values for SoundStation IP 6000 and
SoundStation IP 7000 phones are
TLSv1_0 (default)

SSLv2v3

TLS v1.1 and v1.2 are not supported for 6000 /7000

Version 4.0.14 has this in the release notes:

The permitted values for Polycom SoundStation IP 7000
conference phones are
TLSv1_0 (default)

SSLv2v3

IP 6000 added support for TLS v1.1/v1.2

IP 7000 is still not supported for TLS v1.1/v1.2

Why does the 7000 not support TLS v1.1/v1.2?

I wouldn't think it would be a hardware issue as the 7000 should have better hardware than the 6000.

Our phone server does not support anything less than v1.2 (which is a good thing as v1.0/v1.1 is generally regarded as no longer secure) so our IP 6000  phones are fine, but our IP 7000 cannot connect because they are stuck at v1.0.

I also noticed the recently release v4.0.15 has no change to TLS support.

When will TLS v1.2 support be added to SoundStation IP 7000 phones?

Jan 03, 2013 Question: How can I request a change aka feature request to the current Polycom SIP / UC Software?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

I suggest you look into purchasing some current phones like the Trio range if you require higher TLS versions.
