Hello,
I would like for my conference room users to be able to see and join any meeting from the day from the calendar menu.
I have attempted to upload a cfg file with the exchange.meeting.showOnlyCurrentOrNext="0". After uploading the cfg file, the configuration does not "stick."
1 - Will the attempted configuration accomplish what I want? IE - to display meetings from the entire day at all times during the day?
2 - How do I effect this change? My attempts to do so have not succeeded.
Phone information:
Phone Model | Trio 8800 |
Part Number | 3111-65290-001 Rev:B |
UC Software Version | 5.9.5.3182 |
Updater Signature | Release |
The device is paired with a VisualPro and EagleEye Director II.
My sample cfg file contents are shown below.
Thank you!

Hello @dgs8535 ,
Welcome to the Poly Community.
exchange.meeting.showOnlyCurrentOrNext="0"
The above is the default as shown >here< and therefore is not shown in a backup.
Is this about what is being displayed on the Trio or the actual Visual+/Pro?
There is another parameter that allows going back in time:
exchange.meeting.allowScrollingToPast
If the above is enabled you can scroll back in time for expired meetings
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards

I have an 8500 running 7.1.1.0731 and this feature is actually available in the web interface - so you shouldn't have to wrestle with cfg files on this need - as far as I know.
Under preferences/additional preferences, there is an Idle Screen Settings menu that lets you choose between Menu/Dialpad/Calendar
In your case, you'll choose Calendar and, at rest, the calendar for the day will be displayed on the Trio.

Sorry - I have no idea. My Trio is setup in Generic Mode with a basic SIP line for basic dial out. Line 2 is Teams. Line 3 is Zoom.
My question to you would be - does the option I mention for preferences - is it available in your menu?

I have no experience with that option in that particular way. I did a search on:
- exchange.meeting.showOnlyCurrentOrNext
And the only references I can see are for future meetings, not past meetings. After all - then you'd have to control how far back you'd want to go. Just today. Yesterday? Last week? Could get messy.
One option is to create a Realconnect/Teams Lobby and a separate Zoom Lobby on lines/speed dials 2 and 3. This would allow users to rejoin a past meeting that might still be in process - and then they could enter the VTC code. (see attached) Not as nice as a one touch dial - but I have no idea if a Trio can support the display of past scheduled meetings in the calendar. You'd probably have to put in a service ticket with your reseller on that.
Hope this helps.

allow scrolling to the past looks very promising. I did not see that in the documentation, thank you. What should that look like in the config file? Something like this? exchange.meeting.allowScrollingToPast="1"
Thank you for letting me know.
