Hi,
is there any way to select the position of the lines in VVX models?
If I provide the line configs in order, like reg.1... reg.2... reg.3... everything is OK. But if I try to provide configs like reg.1.. reg.5...reg.6, just the first one is shown.
It seems like I have to provide a correlative config in order to work. Is there any way to select the hardware button without having to fill all the previous buttons?
Regards,
Victor

Hello Victor,
You are using Application SIP Ganga.1 5.0.1.4068 on your VVX but flexible Line Key support was only added to the VVX at present in the UCS 4.1.6 release.
No other release supports this yet so you need to install UCS 4.1.6 in order for this to work.

Hello Victor,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
I have just tested this briefly on a VVX410 running UCS 4.1.6 or 5.0.1 and can confirm your findings.
It may be an unusual configuration so we need to verify if this is working as designed or not.
Could you please raise this via your Polycom reseller so they can bring it to the attention of Polycom support.

Hello Victor,
I checked internally and this is working as designed as the registrations used should be subsequent.
If you would like to move the line registrations around please follow this FAQ post here:

Hello Steffen,
thanks for the info. I've checked documentation but this still doesn't work.
I think the problem is that the VX models doesn't have that functionality. This is what you said a short time back:

Hello Victor,
Since UCS 4.1.6 the VVX phones do support the flexible line key feature.
What is it what you would like to archive?

Hello Steffen,
I want to be able to select the button line. Example, reg1 -> button 12, reg2-> button 1, reg3-> button7.
I've attached the file config I'm providing, the exported config by the phone, and image with the result on the screen.
Am I doing something wrong in the config? I set Unassigned to all the buttons I don't want to use and Line with the reg index to select the order.
Maybe I'm missing something really simple but I don't know what.
Do you need any more info from me?
Regards,
Victor
