Hello,
I’ve a new Polycom VVX500 phone.
First of all I want to congratulate with you for this amazing product. The phone is really innovative and the touch screen is very useful.
However, after I’ve updated the phone to the new firmware v4.0.2, when I press the SPEAKER button, instead of activating the speakerphone, the phone enables the headphones (not plugged in), with the result that I couldn’t continue the conversation more.
The same configuration on a different phone model is working properly.
Thank You
Marco

Hello Marco,
in order to exclude a miss configuration on your end I would suggest to raise this with Polycom Support via your local reseller.
Best Regards

Did you solve your issue? Just curious as I have a VVX500 as well and I have not experienced this problem. Have you checked the Settings > Basic > Preferences > Headset options? What about Settings > Advanced > Administration > Handsfree Mode?
