Trio 8800

Hi,

When will the POLY 8800 conference phone become EOL and stop receiving firmware updates? I can see that hasn't received a firmware update for a while now looks to be May 2024.

Hello @MM240 ,

Welcome to the HP Poly community.

A quick community search finds >this<

A Internet Search Engine search finds:

The Polycom Trio 8800 has an estimated end-of-life date of August 31, 2027, for manufacturer support. While Microsoft stopped supporting it as a native Teams phone after August 31, 2021, Poly will continue offering support for the device in Microsoft Teams mode through October 2021, followed by a year of hardware support. Additionally, Zoom has announced it will end support for its Zoom Rooms Android Controller application on the Trio 8800 in February 2024.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
