Hello,
I was planning on getting an alcatel 6450 switch and some VVX411 phones. They said the phones wouldn't work because the switch was not gigE?
I'm not sure what they mean - http://enterprise.alcatel-lucent.com/assets/documents/OmniSwitch_6450_24-48_datasheet_EN.pdf
If someone could clarify I'd appreciate it.

Hello boe,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
The VVX 411 supports IEEE802.3 so any Gigabit switch is fine. If you only connect a 100MBit we will works with 100FD
