Step-by-step, how do I answer an incoming phone call and transfer it to another employee in our office who also has a Polycom phone? I have a Polycom VVX 500 Series desk phone with an attached VVX Color Expansion Module.
Thanks

I found the answer, but it didn't seem completely accurate. It said: "Press or tap Answer, pick up the handset, or press." Actually, all you have to do is pick up the handset. You don't have to tap Answer. 🙂
Also, I need to know how to erase the "red circle" that has a number inside of it, like a "5", and which is located over an envelope symbol. Those apparently are 5 old phone messages, but when I called the company that sold us the Polycom phones, they said they'd have to get back to me on that. I was told that these are actually not in the phone voice mail box, but in the "999" voice mail box.
I would start a "web service request" with Polycom, but it looks like we might get charged for that.
I tried to start up a "web service request," but the phone number provided didn't have an option for support on Polycom phones. It gave me this message:
If your Accordent product does not have a serial number, please dial 888-248-4143 and open a ticket with our support center.
Never heard of an Accordent product. 🙂
