polycom 550

My polycom 550 error message says "Line Unathorized"

It has been working fine.  Now this.  I have seen answers for other phone, just not specifically this one.

Welcome to the HP Poly community.

 

A great start would be sharing if this is a

  • Polycom SoundPoint IP550
    or
  • Poly Edge E 550

 

If it is the first, I have to disappoint you as this phone model has been more than 10 years end of life, end of support, and end of service.

 

If it is the second, I suggest you contact whoever set up the phone in the first place.

Hi Steffen,

Thank you for responding.  The bad news is that I was dealing with the Polycom SoundPoint IP550 dinasour.

The good news is I had a Poly Edge E450 as a back up (long story).  So I have the old one in the e-waste recycle bin and I have a functioning phone.  

Happy to be in the group.  One of my mantras is Technology is Wonderful.......When it works.
