We use the soundstation for any conferences. During a similar conference the sound station ip 6000 is permanently sending

a "beep beep" - it is distubing during a conference. Is somebody reachable to comment the Problem?

Hello Felix,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s. In addition our reply may depend on the software version.

To answer your question:

 

  • would this be a 2nd call waiting whilst you are already in a call?
  • Does this beep always appear aka if you simply call another extension or does this only appear if you dial into a some type bridge?
