I'm trying to upgrade the vvx phones to UCS 5.3 using FTP server. I'm using DHCP option 66 to set the provisioning server path.

when update the option 66 with the new provisioning path containing the 5.3 the phone start upgrade some  file the shows the following error "could not download mac.cfg using existing configuration"

tried to use different FTP server but the same, the only way to successfully upgrade the phone is to reset it to factory after  that the phones upgrade successfully

the 000000000000.cfg is already exist on the upgrade folder. also it works after factory reseting the phone

any advise

Hello Ahmed,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

What software Version is this VVX currently running and are you using any VLAN's ?

In order to troubleshoot this I recommend to raise a support ticket with us so we can check this.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
