I was trying to listen to music on my desktop, but the audio wouldn't play. I checked the Desk Manager and it said that the driver (or something like that) was corrupted, with a yellow warning sign. I was instructed to delete it, but now that it's gone, I don't have any type of driver or way of getting audio at all. I can't even download one. I have a HP Pavillon 500 series, what can I do?

Sorry that driver didn't work.
It usually does, so unfortunately I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.

What is the full model number or product number of your HP Pavillon 500 series PC?
To find the product number for your PC, click on the search icon on your Windows taskbar.
Type: System Information
The System information app should show up.
Run the app and the product number of your PC will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.
Also, what operating system do you need the driver for?

For future reference, you have a HP Pavilion 500-223w Desktop PC, which uses the IDT audio chip.
See if installing this W10 IDT audio driver and restarting the PC gets the sound to work again.
