Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have audio in my headphones, but when I disconnect the headphones no audio is played via the speakers any longer. If I plug the headphones in the audio still works, but unplugging it does not.  Have to restart the computer to get the speakers to work.  Also, note, your website won't let me select desktop audio from the pulldown list.
