HP Beats Special Edition 23-n010 All-in-One Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I just updated to Windows 10 (not a Clean Installation), and noticed that the Beats Audio dissapeared at all.

I've been looking everywhere and cannot find an answer. I already tried reinstalling Realtek HD Audio drivers from HP website and all, but the issue persists.

Anyone knows how to get it back?

All the answer i've found are specifically for notebook models and newer desktop models.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

I don't know what is happening in this instance.

The HP Driver download site is showing a Realtek audio driver for this PC.

I think this PC was made when Apple acquired Beats. HP had to transition back to Realtek.

Try this driver (Link) to see if it works.

Thanks for your response!

I find it weird, because i've seen many issues like this with newer computers, mostly with Envy notebooks, about Beats Audio feature/driver.

I tried downloading that driver, and the issue persists.

Thanks a lot though!

Hi,

Try uninstalling the audio device in Control Panel, Device Manager.

Remove drivers if you get a prompt.

Restart the system.

Maybe Windows will install the correct audio driver.

Hi,

I don't know why Windows 10 has problems with HP audio drivers.

It appears there is a communication problem between HP and Microsoft.

Thanks a lot!

I couldn't be able to solve the issue. I found the driver's files in the backed up windows 8, the one i saved after installing Windows 10, and somehow it let me open the Beats Audio, but it works awfully slow. Who knows.
