Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this W10 IDT audio driver gets the Beats audio to work again.

Restart the PC after installing the driver...

This package provides the IDT Tempo High Definition Audio Driver for supported desktop models that are running a supported operating system.

File name: sp71717.exe

"the hardware detected is not suported by this IDT software package, the install will be aborted" ;/ I had beats-audio before and got windows 10 a while back then somehow i got it back after trying a lot of things (Idk what i did anymore)  and now after this update it's gone again..

I hope you maybe have something other to try because i really notice that it's gone..

Sorry that driver didn't work.

The only other suggestion I can offer, would be to try the W8 IDT audio driver from your PC's support page.

If that doesn't work either, then I recommend you go back to the last W10 version where the Beats audio was still working.

Here is the W8 driver from your PC's support page...

This package provides the driver update for the IDT High Definition Audio solutions in supported models that are running a supported operating system.

As far as going back...did you update to the Fall creators edition, or did the last batch of security updates knock out the audio?

If you updated to the fall creators edition, you should be able to roll back to the creators edition if you updated in less than 30 days...

If the beats audio was lost after one of the routine windows updates, then see if running the system restore utility resolves the problem.  Pick a restore point to a time before the update knocked out the Beats audio.

If the W8 driver doesn't get the beats audio to work, run the system restore utility.

The feature update probably was the culprit.

Then run this utility at the link below to hide that update from installing again.
