Hello, 

I have an issue with my new to me Elitedesk 800 g4 SSF. I am trying to set up the audio for my TV connected through the DisplayPort on the motherboard and a DP To HDMI adaptor. When  I go into the audio settings, the TV is not available to select as a audio output option. When I add an audio device, the TV is visible by Windows 11 and connects without issue, but it still does not appear as an audio option. Instead when I go back to the devices screen, I find it listed under "Other Devices"  , Audio can be played from the PC speaker.

 

I have seen a Reddit thread where Linux-based 800 g4's had to roll back their BIOS to v2.14.01 to allow HDMI audio.  Not sure if this would help a windows user? 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
