Envy DT700-414 desktop internal case speaker no longer chirps

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I like to use the toggle key feature that makes my desktop chirp every time I hit my cap lock key, accidentally or not.  Yesterday the chirp got quieter and quieter and today I found that it has gone completely silent.

The audio through my external speakers is fine for listening to audio and video files, but they don't play the chirp, a small speaker inside the case is supposed to.  I am guessing my internal speaker has burned up though I can't be sure.  I am open to ideas.

If you agree the speaker is likely fried, how do I access it to replace it?
