The worthless mods here flagged my last post as spam.

THIS. IS. NOT. SPAM!!  PLEASE HELP ME!! I CANNOT AFFORD FOOD BECAUSE OF THIS!!

I am in tears trying to fix this.

In the last two months an awful, horrible, hIgh-pitched whine has started when I record with my microphone. I have tried recording on another, non-HP system I borrowed, in the exact same location, and found NO NOISE WHATSOEVER.  I have isolated the issue to the Omen PC.

I have tried EVERYTHING short of trashing my PC - which is barely a year old. I am in tears. If not for an eviction moratorium in my state due to Covid, I would already have been evicted, because I CANNOT RECORD and therefore I CANNOT WORK and I CANNOT GET PAID!!! I have been skipping meals trying to conserve what little money I have left.

This is what I am talking about: Horrible Noise

This is ruining me. I am desperate for help. I have tried EVERY. SINGLE. TROUBLESHOOTING. SOLUTION. If you can name it, I have tried it. Drivers. Turning off everything in the house. Usb Hub. Different Mic. Different USB interface. NOTHING changes this awful sound.

I just don't understand. It started two months ago and it has destroyed me. I'm going to end up in debt. I don't know what to DO.

Please, for the love of god, please help me.

Hello
I don't think there is any question of SPAM
But you opened several threads for the same problem!

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3810027
It will not go faster like that, on the contrary.
Give us to start, more information
Starting with the exact model of the computer
Microphone used, (do not give all, at least one used)
The recording software used!
With that, maybe we can try to help you !!

@Prométhée

This MIGHT be the same customer that has been posting repeatedly under a different name - or it is a very similar sounding plea as from another poster with the same problem and a similar sounding story of woe and distress.

Regardless, I will notify the moderators of the multiple posts and the situation.

Mods can track whether all the posting is related.

In the case that this is all related, the issue has been escalated outside of the Community.

If you have help to provide to the customer, please do so, of course.
