Hi All,
Looking for some help with the Bluetooth connection with my Envy BT Speakers; they work fine from the desktop (sound great!), but for the life of me I am unable to get a pairing between the BT speaker and my iPhone XR; the BT Speaker just never shows up as a device on the iPhone BT page. I've had the computer out the box for two weeks now, updated Windows, Bios, you name it, uninstalled/reinstalled BT drivers, Realtek drivers, turned it off and rebooted I don't know how many times, checked the settings in the OSD controller (power to Full-Feature and Audio / BT Speaker to "pair") and absolutely nothing. I was hoping to seamlessly run audio via the BT speaker when the computer is off, but nothing has worked. I have also tried to pick-up the HP BT Speaker with other phones, my laptop, an iPad, and N O T H I N G...I called HP after wasting an hour with someone on chat, and the help desk was another hour wasted, I finally got sent upstairs to Level 2 support, but they wanted $60.00 to have a go at the problem (I reminded them it was a brand new machine w/ 3 year warranty, but was told that is hardware only...grrrrrr...). Only thing left to try is update the firmware for the BT Speaker, but cannot fine anything online tp date. Any insights greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Chris

@Bancoubar -- trying to update firmware (or the BIOS in a computer) is risky -- if it fails, you have turned your device into a "brick".
How do you "unpair" the Envy BT speakers, so that another device (smart-phone or computer) can try to pair with the speakers? Does a power-off of the speakers cause "unpairing" to occur?
