HP Omen 870-290
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I recently switched over my HP Omen to a new case. I got everything working like it should besides this issue. I connected it’s front Audio/Mic cable to my F_AUDIO on the motherboard and it fits properly.

When I plug my headset into it, my computer detects a microphone in the sound panel, however it doesn’t detect any sound when I talk. I have tried a few different things, but can’t figure it out. The same thing happens when I use the IN port on the motherboard, it detects “ in lin mic” but doesn’t work.

I have confirmed the headset is working properly on my PS4 and was working on my PC like a week ago. I also reinstalled my Realtek drivers.

I’m confused on what to do next.
