Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Pavilion A10 Vision AMD model no. p7-1549 product no. H2L81AA#ABL Sound has quit working and device manager claims there is no digital device attached. That sounds reasonable to me as I am plugging in an analog head set. It worked perfectly before with Win 8.1

Hi:

 

See if installing the W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model HP desktop PC also works for yours.

 

Restart the PC after installing the driver.
