HP Envy Phoenix 810-150ea Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I updated my envy phoenix 810-150ea desktop from windows 8 to windows 10 on the free upgrade when it released. The other day I had to reinstall windows because some malware had managed to get past my mcafee anti virus. Since reinstalling windows the IDT high definition audio device wont work and if i try to install it it says 'a device connected to the system isn't functioning'. It worked before the reinstallation of windows 10. My tower is connected to the monitor through a dvi to hdmi cable. The only way I can get the sound to work is using the jack on the back of the tower, I like to use the one on the front of the tower but it no longer works. How can I fix this?

Please download and install

                           http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71717.exe

newer software may also work, you can try it first:

                           https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71886.exe

Regards.
