Bought a 

HP EliteDisplay E243m, and a HP ENVY Desktop - 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10700 - Windows 11, I noticed the computer does not have a port for the DisplayPort like the monitor does. My question, is this the reason that no sound in or out when using webcam? The picture is there (but used HDMI to get the monitor to work), if so is there a way around it? I used a series of converters to eventually get the DisplayPort plugged into the USB C slot….without luck though. I really need the webcam and monitor to work correctly for my job.
