HP Envy Laptop17-u110nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My mic sounds very distorted and deep and unintelligible all around. Even cortana can’t understand me. Now i thought it was the mic but when i used the same mics on different devices it sounded completely fine but once plugged into the laptop it sounded horrible again. I’ve tried everything from messing with the mic and device properties and changing drivers but nothing works. Any help? I believe this started to happen ~2 years ago because that was when cortana could actually understand what i said.
