Hi:

What is the full model number or product number of your PC?

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

Please do not post the serial number.

HP Pavilion HPE h8-1214 Desktop PC QW701AA I can see the lights for sound and if I cast my PC to the TV with my chromecast the sound works on there .

Hi:

When you cast the PC to the TV, it uses a different audio device.

See if installing this W10 IDT audio driver and restarting the PC, gets the speakers to work again...

VERSION: 6.10.6504.0

Sorry that driver didn't work for you.

Unfortunately, I don't know what the issue could be since the speakers are not the default device.

Do you have a set of speakers that have the light green audio jack where you can plug it into the corresponding light green audio out jack in the back of the PC?
