My monitor doesn’t have in-built speakers and only has 1 HDMI port.

My monitor doesn’t have in-built speakers and I have 1 HDMI port only and that is what connects my Laptop to my Monitor, so I’m unsure on how to connect external speakers to my monitor given the issue.

@rhaz1

For laptop, you can use headphones or headphones/microphone combo port, speakers will work the same way as headphones.

Do your speakers have power supply ?
