HP 22uh.  No sound.  System indicates Realtek speakers are operating correctly.  Have used another speaker plugged into the headphone jack. But no sound results.

Banhien,

Thank you for your continuing to assist me.  Obviously, I have installed speaker via the base unit (Realtek).  On the sound graphics I can visually see some sound, but no sound in the output.  Soeakers are attached and turned on and volume is up but no sound.  Any other recommendations?

No.  My  surround sound speakers on my brand new HP Desktop 290-p0043w do not work.   According to the box it is suppose to have speakers;   the diagnostics tool hp used seems to see no problems
