no sound in monitor when outside speker connected or vis versa

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • What is the operating system?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that this monitor apparently does not have speakers.
