Connected new monitor VH240a, now have no sound coming from Realtek. If I plug in audio to green port it says I have Realtek but get no sound.  If I plug into blue or pink it says Realtek unplugged.  Help please

How do you connect to new monitor ? If you are using HDMI cable, you need to disable HDMI sound because system "thinks" you are using sound to different speaker(s) on monitor. Please try

(a) Right click speaker icon and select Open Sound settings

(b) From pull down window, select normal Realtek sound Or disable HDMI sound),

(c) Click Apply/Ok

Regards.
