Just purchased this all in one computer. I have used a laptop in past that too only had one 3.5mm jack but usually when i plugged mic into that it would bring up a prompt giving me the option to select mic in or line in or headphone. this computer is not giving me that option at this moment. In the past if i experienced this situation i would go into he Realtek audio manger and it would allow me to select which device i had plugged in. This computer apparently has DTS audio, which does not give me that option. Any solutions?

P.S. I have heard of USB sound card devices but i was just trying to see if there is another remedy for this problem

Its specs

It does NOT have any port for microphone. Which port do you use ? Your laptop may have a combo jack.

Regards.
