OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop PC GT15-0000a (4Q9S4AV)

I use my HP U27 4K monitor for sound.  When it was connected to my HP Pavilion PC it worked fine.  However, the sound is unstable when the monitor is connected to my new OMEN PC.  I can sometimes add it as an output device in Settings/Sound.  Or if I run the HP Support Assistant troubleshooter it will "fix" the problem by activating the monitor and setting it as the default.  However, every time the PC goes to sleep, I lose the sound connection and have to restart to get it back.  Restart makes the sound work, but it does not always add the monitor back as a Sound device in Settings.

If it matters - when I do have sound, HP U27 4K Wireless Monitor is listed under "audio" in Bluetooth and Devices.  But there's a second entry for HP U27 4K W09AE that is not connected.  In the monitor menu under Audio Control, the Wireless Audio option is grayed out.

Shortly after connecting the monitor to the OMEN PC I tried to connect with the Windows/K combination that is recommended in the monitor user guide and I got the boat picture, but there was no PIN.   Now whenever I wake the PC up, a box pops up asking for the PIN that it says is displayed on the monitor but isn't.  I think the missing PIN may be causing my problems, but I can't find the PIN.

Can anyone tell me how to find the PIN?  Is there a sequence of disconnecting and reconnecting that I need to do?

Thank you!
