Product: Pavilion h8-1260t
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Speakers stopped working upgrading to Win10. Tried updating drivers for IDT High Def Codec and it starting downloading a driver, but then said there was a problem.  Have done everything I know and a couple things I've seen posted in communities like this, but no luck.  The speakers were working fine until the upgrade.

Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to try the W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model PC and see if it works on yours.

 

Restart the PC after installing the driver.
