Suddenly no audio.

Suddenly no audio although Computer has Bang & Olsen speakers.  Control Panel Programs show installation of Conexant HD Audio version installed 11/2/19, Conexant HD audio not shown in Device Manager so essentially vanished from Device manager.

I use LAN connection for computer.

How do I retrieve speakers for Microsoft ID?

Do I uninstall Conexant application and then where do I find and download the same application software again?

@Mk801, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Did you try plugging in an earphone and check?

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Also, check for any pending windows update. Reboot the computer.

For now, perform the steps mentioned in this document.

If the issue persists, let us run a hardware test
