I have built in Realtec Audio in/out 3.5 mm jack to use with my headset with microphone. When I unplug I can hear the built-in stereo speakers and use the built-in microphone. Many times I have to unplug and/or plug in (depending on noises around me). How can I switch between the 3.5mm port and the built-in speaker/mic combo without having to physically unplug/plugin by using the tools in my windows 10 pro?

Right-Click on your Sound icon in your Taskbar > Open Sound Settings

OR

Settings > System > Sound

Input

If there is more than one microphone detected,

Select your Input (microphone) from what is available in the drop down list

Auxilary

Check the Microphone Permissions for your input devices

Under Related Settings (lower on the same page)

Click Microphone Privacy Settings

What else?

Control Panel > icon view > Sound

Tab Recording

Select the input you want to use

Click Properties > Enable the device
