@TheoPols Does sound appear when you connect an external USB speaker to the device?
Also, could you perform a system restore and check if that helps?
Meanwhile, the best way to resolve the issue is by using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:
(simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).
Have you updated the BIOS and the Chipset drivers as well? If not, please go to the HP website and get the same done, restart the pc and check if it works.
