I get no sound out of my speakers OR my headphones.  WHen playing music, the levels jump, like its playing, but nothing comes out.  I tried updating the driver and still nothing.  The computer is out of the box.  I have a dual monitor setup, one out of the dport and one hdmi, both disabled for sound (they have no external speakers).  Please help.  Or HALP  Thanks

Check Control panel -> Sound.  For Playback: set the default device to Speakers (or your device of choice). Then right click Properties for Speakers, select Panel 3.5mm Jack or what's appropiate for your system.. Also, run sounds tests while in control panel.  Have 5 monitor system, with AMD HDMI, NVIDA HDMI, Samsung TV, and Speakers.  Took a bit of fiddling, but now all devices work when activated/deactivated properly. Sometimes gets stuck with output going HDMI device after HDMI device is turned off.  Then no sound until reset.
