Product: SRS Premium Sound/HP Thin USB Powered Speakers
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Yes, I can hear sound on these speakers! I also hear an irregular beeping that occurs about every 5-12 seconds. It is the sound you typically hear when pulling out a flash drive without safely ejecting.

 

The new speakers came with a CD, but my Lenovo does not have an optical drive. I looked for drivers online, but I suspect it simply will not work with a Lenovo. I'm looking for confirmation that indeed, they will not work, or help troubleshooting the problem. I have tried everything from both Lenovo and HP support sites. My PC does not seem to acknowledge that something new has been plugged into it. The SRS?HP driver I found says I am not able to use it after attempts to install.
