I have a Altec Lansing wireless speaker that works fine on HDMI 1 for pc sounds, skype, etc.  Attached a Google Chromecast to HDMI 2 and plugged in the USB cable.  I am able to cast from my iPad but there is no sound on the wireless speaker and do not any place to select sound to HDIM 2.  I thought it would be routed via the system sound connection.  Monitor is a Pavilion 25sw IPS Backlit Monitor (no speakers).  Conexant HD audio is not connected.

Suggestions on getting sound to play or is chromecast just a video only device?
