HP Recommended

Our company recently purchased HP 24mh monitors to use with our laptops. When I plug in a set of ear buds or headset to the laptop, sound still comes out of the monitors- do I need a separate audio cable in order to use ear buds or headsets? It looks like we have one audio in port on the monitors? (HP 24mh FHD Monitor - Computer Monitor with 23.8-Inch IPS Display (1080p) - Built-In Speakers and VESA Mounting - Height/Tilt Adjustment for Ergonomic Viewing - HDMI and DisplayPort - (1D0J9AA#ABA)
