Product: HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-1000i (6L728AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

This is my second brand new Envy that has the identical sound issue. The centre channel is only restored when the speakers configuration is toggled 5.1 stereo (or quad) then back to 5.1. Then it works until the next whoosh. My view is there's a latency issue on the hp mother board.........but I no pc expert. Any comments/suggestions welcome.
