my original OS was windows 8. but have since then updated to windows 10. I was deleting some programs that were drining my system. I accidently deleted my audio program. speaker with a red X. I go in to trouble shoot it & get no devices found. it won't correct the problem. Go to HP to get the drivers and it won't accept the download. no matter how many times I try it. I got 100% one time and it said that it was a failure. how do I go about getting my audio speakers back? I've even tried to re down load the windows 10 again, but no joy. I look at my audio program and I'm missing { IDT High Definition Audio Driver SP61673.exe } program. I'm trying to get it back. Any ideas??????

Hi:
Usually if you install the W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model desktop and restart the PC, that will get the sound to work again.

I did try at least 10 times. It kept saying that it was a failure to download. I tried both HP and Windows downloads. No joy at anytime. Something is preventing it from being reinstalled. I'm giving up on it. I'll strip the platinum from it to make some of the money back. A friend has one that is 3years new. He is will to sell it to me for cheap. And that one should be able to download Windows 11. I hear that it is a better program anyway. Thanks anyway.
