You should type Control Panel in the Search box in the lower left corner of your desktop.  Then, click on "Hardware and Sound"/Sound/Manage audio devices.

Thank you for the additional information, @frozo.

Here is the Software and Driver Download page for the computer.  You can reinstall the Audio driver to see if that fixes the audio manager.  If not, It may be that you lost the Realtek HD Audio Manager after a Windows Update.  Here is a guide to help you reinstall it.
