just did the update to the newest version of
OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Home Insider Preview
Version 10.0.18298 Build 18298
I now can't install the audio drivers, the have worked before thought all the updates and builds.
I even download from hp site the installation software for the audio SP71717, still no luck.
any one with a fix or workaround for this?

Hi and thanks for the repy Asmita6658..
Did try all the things and more that you suggusted with no luck.
I rolled backed the update I got earlier that day from the windows 10 insiders program.
windows found the sound card this time and installed the drivers with out any intervention from me.
It must of been a clince in the last update I got that morning.

Appreciate you trying the steps. Don't worry, I'm here to help!
Let's try these steps -
Step 1 Run Audio troubleshooter -
1) In Windows, type find and fix audio into Search, or right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar and select Troubleshoot sound problems.
2) Select Find and fix audio playback problems or Find and fix audio recording problems from the Search results.
Step 2 Re-install the Audio drivers -
1) In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
2) Double-click Sound, video and game controllers.
3) Right click on the Audio drivers and click on uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.
Also, try updating the computer -
Step 3 Windows Updates troubleshooter -
Click on this link to run Windows Updates troubleshooter.
Step 4 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 5 HP Support Assistant Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
