I do not know whether this is the same problem, but my desktop no longer recognises any audio hardware, so I am at a loss as to how to recover the situation.

Any assistance gratefully received!

I also have an HP ENVY All-in-One 27-b2XX running Windows 10 Home and can't get my sound to work.  I've tried reinstalling drivers, and all troubleshooting techniques and it still won't recognize any audio output device.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I tried this link to uninstall and install the audio drivers.

 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26329/Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver-for-Intel-NUC-K...

I downloaded the file "AUD_Win7_8.1_10_6.0.7.7982.zip" and unzipped the file to a directory and ran the setup file.

The Realtek installer first uninstalled the existing driver and required a reboot. After reboot the installer continued and installed the driver. A new reboot was required. Once the PC had rebooted I checked the Device Manager.

I no longer have any devices that are not recognized and my audio is now working.
