no sound says no drivers installed but have tried several times to install drivers with no luck

touchsmart 320-1131
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

have tried through hp and windows several times but hve no luck installing drivers for IDT high definition audio CODEC

I understand that there is no Sound from your HP TouchSmart 320-1131

 

I'd like to help.

 

Since this is an older Model, HP doesn't have the Windows 10 drivers for this Desktop

 

You can try updating the drivers from Device Manager.

 

- In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
- In the list of devices, look for Audio Inputs and expand the list
- Right-click the drivers and select Update Driver Software.
- Click Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated driver.
- Restart your computer to complete the installation of the updates.
 

If this doesn't work you might have to go back to the original OS that came with the computer.
