I have seen similar issues to this posted but no solutions so realise I may be wasting my time but it's not a good reflection on HP. The quality and security of connection to my new - and expensive - Sony bluetooth earphones is very very poor. They are unusable. It has nothing to do with any of the usual things which get mentioned. They work brilliantly paired to my phone with me sitting in exactly the same place ( within 3 feet of the pc) but as soon as I switch from phone to the HP the quality is hopeless and there are breaks in the sound. Seems to me this has to be a problem with the HP bluetooth connection so maybe can't be fixed but seems bizarre if so. However if you have any solutions I would be delighted to hear them.

I understand that you are facing Bluetooth quality issues.
Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
Try creating a new user account on your computer.
Go to http://hp.care/2dWJKgW and follow the steps to create a new user account.
