Did a complete wipe of my hard drive using DBAN. Reinstalled Windows 10. No audio. When I try to load the driver I get the "The hardware detected is not supported by this IDT Software package" . I have tried SP71717, SP71886 and SP63555. I know one or two of these are for laptops. Either way, nothing worked.
Please give me a link to a drive that will work for me.
Thanks
Eric

Found the solution on my own. Once I updated the chipset drivers. The one called "Intel Chipset Driver". Then I again tried to install the Tempo High Definition Audio Driver (Original IDT) and it installed right away! Back in business baby!
