sound drivers in device manager not updating or working after install win 10 1903, on HP Envy 27 k..

This is the HP envy 27 k001a model, I have installed the windows 10 1903 update and after this the sound icon bottom right displays a red x and in sound just says there is no driver fo rteh sound. So I went onto Microsoft page and the site is:

the site states going into device manager and bring up the sound, video and game controllers, then just update this. This I did and now the sounds, video and game controllers is gone.

I have tried restarting even redownloading the new win 10 1903 version. and when I go in and try the next the 3rd thing on the micro site above, with update driver from the browse computer and choose from list of drivers on computer, and use the high definition audio device, I cant find the this device in the list.

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to see if this W10 IDT audio driver works on your model.

Restart the PC after installing the driver...
