HP pavillion P6-2455eb
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey,

on my 'old' pc (HP Pavillion P6-2455eb) I have problems that my pc does not recognize a simple headphone or speaker plugged into the green jack card at the front or back of the computer.

If I perform a problem solving with regard to sound, I can only choose between 2 times the same, namely:

   - NVIDIA output - NVIDIA high definition audio / the connector for this device is located in the HDMI connector

   - NVIDIA output - NVIDIA high definition audio / the connector for this device is located in the HDMI connector

So I don't see anything concerning the normal green jack connection for headphones.

Does anyone have a simple solution so that headphones or a speaker can be connected via this green jack connection.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this W10 IDT audio driver works for your model PC.

Restart the PC after installing the driver.
