Hello, hoping I can get some much needed help here. I have a 1 year old (1 month out of warranty...go figure) HP Pavilion 24" All in one Desktop that cost me almost $1000 after upgrades that will not boot up.
I was having some "wake up" problems with it for a couple weeks. Like when it would go to sleep it wouldnt wake up like normal, I had to pull the power for a minute and plug it back in and re boot it, then it would be fine.
But now it just wont boot up at all.
The power adapter led light on back of the computer DOES light up when I plug the adapter in. I also can get the screen settings widget on the screen to pop up if I press the joystick on the back of the desktop. So its getting power.
But, the power / On button does not light up. The computer will also not turn on no matter what I do.
I have tried disconnecting the power for minutes, hours, a day. Nothing matters. I have also tried to long press the power button, nothing matters. Except if plug in the power adapter, and hold the power button for like 10 seconds I will get the power button to light up for about 1 second before it goes back off.
Pretty disappointing for a computer that cost this much and is this new to be having this problem.
Anyone have any ideas?
